Our Paver Sealing Process
Inspection and Testing
We inspect the pavers for previous sealer, drainage issues, stains, efflorescence, damaged pavers and joint condition. Previously sealed surfaces may require testing or a separate stripping service before they can be resealed safely.
Professional Cleaning
The surface is pressure cleaned and soft-wash treated to remove dirt, algae and organic contamination. Preparation varies according to the selected package and the condition of the pavers.
Specialty Preparation
When included, we treat qualifying oil contamination, rust staining and efflorescence. Necessary acid preparation is followed by proper rinsing and neutralization before sealing.
Joint Sand Installation
New joint sand is installed with applicable packages after the pavers are clean and sufficiently dry. Sand color options may be available to complement the pavers.
Premium Sealer Application
We apply the appropriate coats of professional sealer based on the selected package, surface condition and desired finish. Optional high-gloss applications receive additional back-rolling when required for a more uniform appearance.
Final Inspection and Maintenance Recommendations
After application, we inspect the finished surface and provide instructions for curing, vehicle traffic, furniture replacement and future maintenance.
