Pure Water System (Water Fed Pole)
What is it
A water fed pole system is a portable water filtration system that uses several filters to achieve 0 ppm water. That means there are no minerals in the water so when it evaporates nothing is left behind. This water is dispensed through a soft brush which is how it cleans windows.
How does it work
Pure water wants to return to it's natural state with impurities, so it bonds to dirt, dust and other particles on the surface. The bristle brush is used to scrub the glass, loosing the material which is then rinsed away. When the pure water evaporates nothing is left behind leaving a clean streak free window.
Pros and cons
Pros:
1: Windows that are hard to reach can be cleaned easily and from the ground.
2: Only water is being used making it eco friendly
Cons:
1: You can't remove things like paint, tape, and tough grime that need to be removed with a razor or steel wool
2: Sometimes you have to reclean a window after it's dried because it was not rinsed enough and left behind spots.
Conclusion
Water fed poles have some great advantages but are not a one side fit's all product. We use water fed poles on buildings with hard to reach, high windows or on maintenance clients who get their windows done on a regular basis.
